In Its First Year as an Independent Company, Gartner Ranks Dynatrace #1 in APM Market

Digital Performance software company Dynatrace, announced that Gartner, Inc., has named Dynatrace the worldwide application performance monitoring (APM) market share leader. Seizing 12.5% of the market share in a highly competitive space, the company’s reach continues to strengthen its leadership position to expand globally with more than three times the revenue of other new generation APM vendors and 30% more than traditional vendors. Gartner says the growth of APM software revenue has accelerated over the past several years, reaching $2.6 billion in 2014. This translates into a 15.8% increase over 2013, which in turn posted revenue growth of 13.0% over 2012. With revenue of $326.9 million, — up $55.9 million from 2013 — Dynatrace continues to outpace its nearest competitor by more than $100 million. Additionally, Dynatrace’s 2014 growth rate increased to 20.6%, nearly three times higher than the previous year’s growth and 24% faster than the overall global APM market.
