NetScout had introduced a new version of it’s nGeniusONE solution
23 Sep 2014

NetScout solutions had introduced a new version of the nGeniusONE solution. Along with the introduction of new features and Service Monitors, the nGeniusONE 5.3 release provides many significant changes in the design and workflow of the User Interface for nGeniusONE monitors and configuration modules. The nGeniusONE Reporting module has undergone major renovations providing new templates and an improved workflow for customizing reports.  Troubleshooting capabilities have been enhanced with new features to support Server Search to identify the location of a server and provide a launch point to detailed monitors and High Granularity Drill-Downs to progressively access higher resolution data and using that context for Session and Packet Analysis workflows.  nGeniusONE 5.3 also introduces a new data construct, Network Domains, for grouping monitored elements and locations.  The Network Domain is used in service definitions and is used as a data source for reports and Traffic Monitors.  The Network Domain extends the access control model used with services and service domains to allow flexible security models for data access.  A new Network Domain Dashboard has been added to provide an overview of the status of configured Network Domains.  A new feature called Spaces allows users to define a framework of views that show current conditions for selected services and applications.

In addition to these key enhancements here is a list of the highlights of the nGeniusONE 5.3 release.
